Hello!

I am Katie, a 20 year old student from London who is currently doing an Erasmus year in Paris.

In London I am studying for a BASc in Arts and Sciences at UCL, which is an interdisciplinary degree that everyone should consider because it's wonderful. I major in 'Cultures' and minor in 'Health and Environment', meaning I have had the opportunity to study a huge variety of interesting subjects, from Old Norse Skaldic poetry to evolutionary biology, and from modern museums policy to post-war international relations.
In Paris I study as an exchange student at Sciences Po, choosing from a similar range of subjects.

I like cities, concrete and symmetry, but I am also a self-defined mountain goat who prefers to be outdoors doing something. I climb and run a lot, I skate sometimes and I snowboard when I can.

This blog is mostly about the things I get up to in Paris.

Adventures are all over the place if you want them to be, and I like to spend my time looking for them. Although my instagram / blog / social media might make it seem like I have a spectacular life, most of the time I am actually just sat studying or on the internet. Admittedly I am a very lucky person to have the chance to live in London and in Paris, but I hope that by writing this blog, people will get to see that you can have a really great time wherever you are, if you just look for the cool stuff.
